Of all the races I've participated since I started running, this is the equivalent of what golfers call "a Mickey Mouse course".
Started late (40 minutes late), no checkpoints, low participation, and dangerous at certain places.
The redeeming factors
- there were quite a number of police, MPAJ and volunteers for traffic control.
- I managed to get a finisher's medal (18th in the Open category) - but very pai seh, as there could have only be 45 in that category max!
- My wife finished tops in the Women's Veteran - she also feel pai seh, only 6 in that category! Hopefully it serves as some encouragement to her for future participation...
Nuf' said. Can't say it wasn't fun but it could have been organized better.
